I mailed informational flyers in September 2010 to Colorado Licensed Massage Therapists announcing the Rossiter Unit I Workshops I was offering in October and November for NCBTMB approved Continuing Education Units (16 CEU's).

I was subsequently informed by the Colorado Department of Higher Education, Division of Private Occupational Schools that offering workshops as Continuing Education in the State of Colorado requires complying with legal statutes designed to protect the public from unscrupulous scammers.

Because the requirements for complying with these statutes to establish my business, Rossiter Stretching, as a Private Occupational School are exceedingly expensive and extensive, I offer these workshops (with the same hours and content as approved for Continuing Education by NCBTMB and NATA-BOC and for some personal trainer continuing ed) with the intent of them being for personal enrichment or self-care in Colorado.

As with the courses taught outside of Colorado, upon successfully finishing the workshop, each attendee will receive a Certificate of Completion from Rossiter & Associates that states the number of credits earned per NCBTMB. It's a standard part of the certificate. Please call me with any questions you may have.
